New Songs! (Kinda)
The beta version of the new Bombed Out website is up here http://beta.bombedout.com
It looks bloody lovely! And also has two unreleased Dauntless Elite songs on there "Geneva, Liberty and Online Cashbooks" and "Post-Modernist Take On Getting Fucked Up"
These are basically two songs that didn't make it onto Graft. You can probably tell why!
We're still working on new stuff right now, we have around 10 new songs, 7 of which need lyrics, but one or two of them will be getting an airing when we play next.
We currently have these gigs line up.
Friday 12th June - Durham, End of Term Roc-Soc party
Friday 10th July - Wakefield, Beef-Stock w/ Leatherface, Former Cell Mate, Above Them

The gig was in Richmond, VA and was pretty crazy. We were supposed to be playing in a huge backyard of 2 houses that had been converted into a big dusty bmx track. A couple of bands played, The Show and This Town Is An Anchor if I remember correctly, but then the cops came and shut it down. We packed up and drove to this guys house/recording studio and played there. They guy in question (who you can see crowdsurfing in one of the videos with a top hat!) later told me and Lee that himself and Andre 3000 were the only original rappers in the world. He had a band called Tigerbomb (? I think) and a few years later he tried to stab our friend Richard (The Tiger), but that's a whole different story.
We don't have many gigs lined up, but we are playing Beef-Stock with fucking Leatherface!

Apologies for the delayed update, our words got stuck in the snow.
We have been practicing, which is good for us! New stuff is coming along nicely. We have about 5 or 6 new songs on the go that just need lyrics. 2 new songs do have lyrics though and we've been playing them recently. We'll be playing em this friday in Lancaster along with a couple of oldies we haven't played in a while which sounded....interesting in practice last night. So yeah, Lancaster this friday (the 13th! Eek!) - The Yorkshire House, 4 quid, with The Freezing Fog, Carraway, and a couple more. Flyer below!

Welcome to The Dauntless Elite blog, or "because we can't be arsed updating our website". In fact, I think we might link the website direct to this in the future, who knows.
So, an update?
We didn't play any gigs for ages & ages and some people thought we had split up. Sorry, we're still around. We played a couple of gigs this month and we even played a couple of new songs.
We're playing these gigs, come down and shout "bring on the wall!" at Lee!
